Vikki Marmaras is a picture book author and active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). When Vikki is not writing, she works part time for an international children’s charity and raises her young family.
Julia Seal knew from the age of five what she wanted to do for a living-draw pictures! After earning a degree in Graphic Design and working in the greeting card industry (where she got covered in glitter every day!), she finally moved onto her dream job, illustrating children’s books.
Always passionate about environmental issues, she was inspired to write “Bloom” after reading that disposable masks would soon outnumber jellyfish in the ocean. Her hope is to help children understand and appreciate the delicate balance of life in our waters.
Karen de Seve loves to tell stories about science in new and fun ways. She has written comics about tiny critters that have super strength, and about the women heroes who discovered West Nile virus in New York City. She lives in New Jersey with her own heroes: her husband and two daughters.
Randy’L He-Dow Teton is a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall, Idaho. Randy’L has gained wide recognition for her work in tribal government, communications, and public relations. She is proud to serve her family, tribe, state, and Indian Country by helping Tribes tell their story from their perspective. She lives in Idaho with her three children, Kumia, Pongose, and Abalone Rose and enjoys collecting coins.
Anastasia Magloire Williams enjoys working with bold characters and writing vibrant stories that reflect a diverse and beautiful world. When she isn’t reading everything in sight, she can be found tending to her many plants, gaming with her husband, or painting in her studio in sunny Florida.
